64-bit

We are kinda stuck, unable to roll out our *full* solution until we get 64-bit support on the grid. Can we get an update on how things are going with the 64-bit testing (to be available with AppLogic 2.5, if I understand correctly)?

Also, I understand all the "heavy lifting" with 64-bit is done and it is primarily a matter of testing at this point. If so, we would definitely be interested in helping to participate with an alpha/beta version. Please advise.

We are in the process of preparing the production version of AppLogic 2.0 (it will be a version 2.0.x); while we are very happy that many customers are deploying production apps on the 2.0 beta, we really would like to have the production AppLogic version out there quickly (and with some improvements).

This is coming out in the next few weeks to our hosting partners. I expect we will be able to test out and provide a alpha version of the 64-bit support shortly after that to you and select other customers who would like to participate in the 64-bit testing.

We are planning to have a 64-bit CentOS 5 appliance - will that work for you? Do you have the ability to deploy a test version of your app prior to releasing the 64-bit support in production? Also, let's confirm with your hosting provider that the servers in your grid are 64-bit capable (I am 99.99% sure they are).
