A new hotfix, hotfix 4, is now released. It fixes a critical stability problem in AppLogic 1.2.14b. The hotfix must be installed immediately on all grids running AppLogic 1.2.14b.
You can verify whether the hotfix is applied to your grid by running the following command in the shell. grid info If the hotfix is installed, you will see the "hf4" tag in the AppLogic version string.
For example, the following grid doesn't have hotfix 4:
mygrid1> info grid
Grid Name : mygrid1
Grid Description : Test grid #1
AppLogic Version : 1.2.14
The following grid has hotfix 4
mygrid2> info grid
Grid Name : mygrid2
Grid Description : Test grid #2
AppLogic Version : 1.2.14 hf4
This hotfix resolves defect SCR 1533 which was causing increased network traffic when accessing volumes from the grid controller. The defect could cause server drop and/or grid reboot during operations like application provisioning, import and export, as well as volume copy and resize.
If you have a grid hosted with one of our hosting partners and you don't have hotfix 4 installed, please contact your hosting provider.
Prior hotfixes, hf1-hf3 are optional and don't need to be installed on your grid unless your hosting provider determines that they are needed. Hotfix 4 is applicable only to AppLogic 1.2.14; it should not be used on other AppLogic versions.
