After doing an initial Windows update (Express update with mostly security patches as of 1/5/2009) on the WIN03S app, I get 4 or 5 successive errors during my Administrator login (See attached image). Is there more documentation online about the boot process? I know that this file is from the Cygwin AppLogic stuff, but given that it's an executable, I have no idea why it might be failing... or if I should care as long as the component is running.
Thanks.

Sorry, I don't have a good way to post the image right now... it's a typical service startup error window stating that ccad-bin.exe has failed:
ccad-bin.exe encountered a problem and needed to
close.

Please tell Microsoft about the problem.
blah blah blah...

Tim,
ccad is the counter collection agent which provides the monitoring data; the appliance should work OK without ccad working but you will not be able to get monitoring info (CPU load, I/O, memory, etc.) out its 'mon' terminal. This information will still be available inside the appliance via perfmon.
We will try to reproduce the problem next week; we'll ask if we need more info to reproduce. If any of our phone discussions have shed more light on this issue, please let me know.
Thanks,

FWIW (maybe not much): My hunch is that this is related to trouble with duplicate IP addresses happening with the PV/network drivers failing to acquire an address.

We still see this error in 2.4.8. Have you reproduced it yet?

Tim, no, we haven't been able to - and we do run Windows extensively. If you can provide us with steps to reproduce, it will be very helpful.
Thanks,
