Getting this message after I attempted to move the bfc to a different server
Attempt recovery of BFC from a database replica?
y or n --> y
Location of replicated database.
Should be on a network or external storage device.
Path --> /tmp/backups/bfcbackup/bfcdbbackup
-bash: escript: command not found
Failed to verify the replica version
Error: invalid replica version
BFC install was unsuccessful

I m posting those messages too in case some one else had the same issues I think I need to copy the rsync files to that folder

I found tthat the rsync file needs to be mounted aftrer the installation script reaches the point where it asks for the database password if we attempted to do it after that or before it will fail
Not sure what's happening with the escript error in the first post. At that point in the restore process, we should have everything we need so we're not sure how you would get that error. Sounds like you got past that, though(?).
As for the other errors, one of the requirements to do a migration is #5 below - the download directory must be in the same location on the new bfc server as the old. Looks like that may have been the problem here. Let us know (if you haven't filed a support ticket already) if that is the problem.
Migration Requirements:
1. Both the backbone and public IPs need to be the same as the original server
2. hostname -s must give the same result as the original server
3. uname -n must give the same result as the original server
4. The installation directory must be the same (e.g., /opt/bfc)
5. The download directory for the AppLogic versions must be the same
