I get a boot failure indicating that there is no boot volume available whenever I try to startup a WIN03S or WIN03E with memory larger than 3.75G. I understand that Standard edition might not allow greater than 4GB of memory, but Enterprise too? Is there anything special that needs to be done to say use 6GB of memory in a single running instance of WIN03E on 3Tera?

Tim,

As we discussed on our call, we have diagnosed this problem to be related to the PV drivers.

We're expecting an updated version of the drivers for testing within the next few days. We will post results here as soon as they are available.

Anyone: please inquire by responding to this topic.

FYI - while you fixed this a while ago for us with the beta PV drivers, I wanted to follow-up and close the loop by saying that the beta PV drivers have fixed this issue and we are now able to boot with full memory access (since mid-January `09).

Tim,

Thanks for the update!

We now have the production version of those drivers -- after our next release we will be running them through the gauntlet so that they can be certified and released.

Best regards,
