The following hotfix has been released to alleviate a rare network condition that can cause reduced performance and, in extreme cases, one or more servers going down.
A hotfix is available for the following versions of CA AppLogic:
AppLogic 2.9.9 (it will also work with 2.9.3 beta) - see http://wiki.3tera.net/bin/view/AppLogic29/HotFixHf3240
AppLogic 3.0.30 - see http://doc.3tera.com/AppLogic30/en/Release_Notes/Hotfixhf3240.html
AppLogic 3.1.x FTR and later releases already have a fix for this issue, so no hotfix is required.
For proper operation, the hotfix should be applied to all grids on the same backbone. A manually applied solution is available for earlier releases (2.x prior to 2.9); if there is interest, please IM me.
Best regards,
- Peter
