This hotfix resolves the following bugs for ESX-based AppLogic 3.0.30 grids:
- 5611: appliances running on an AppLogic ESX server may temporarily lose network access
- 5656: virtual switch VM does not start after an AppLogic ESX server reboot
This hotfix may only be applied to AppLogic 3.0.30 grids that are using one or more ESX-based nodes (this hotfix is not needed for grids that use only Xen-based nodes). A grid reboot is not required after applying the hotfix.
If this hotfix is installed on a grid and afterwards new ESX-based servers are added, this hotfix must be re-installed on the grid.
We suggest adding this hotfix to your ESX-based grids ASAP.
