Hi,
A bug in AppLogic 2.3.9 and 2.4.5 came to our attention: copying Linux volumes at filesystem level (rather than the default block level) does not copy files >=2GB correctly. This is due to a bug in the Linux cpio command used by the Linux Filer appliances.
The AppLogic commands affected by this are:
vol resize
vol copy (with --fscopy option)
app provision (when specifying volume size different from the template)
As well as the corresponding operations done from the graphical user interface.
Note that this is about files that are larger than 2 GB; volumes can be any size.
We are preparing a hotfix for AppLogic 2.4.5. A note will be posted here in the next few days as the hotfix becomes available.
Regards,
