3Tera is pleased to announce the release of AppLogic version 1.2.14b.

This is the first generally available AppLogic release since AppLogic 1.2.3. It is available for download or hosted access by 3Tera customers.

This new release provides significant stability and security improvements as well as many bug fixes and a few new features. As such, all new grid installs should use this release. Grids that are currently running prior versions of AppLogic should be upgraded to this release.

Key Enchancements and Bugfixes

stability improvements, especially under high load and in handling server failures
improved performance of all appliances under high load
security enhancements on shared backbone
support for additional SATA and network controllers
bugfixes in volume migration and repair
bugfix in application provisioning and volume resize to properly preserve volume's root permissions
versions of WEB and MYSQL appliances that work in >800M are available
added support for Firefox 2.0 browser

if you don't have a wiki account but have a dedicated grid: login ot the grid dashboard, select the Support tab and open Product Documentation. In the jump bar (upper right corner), type: ReleaseNotes-1-2-14b

You can check which version of AppLogic you are running by issuing the "grid info" command on the AppLogic shell. Version 1.2.14b shows as 1.2.14.
