We are pleased to announce that the 2.8.9 production release of the AppLogic(R) Cloud Computing Platform is now available on our download server.
The 2.8 release has had the largest field beta of any AppLogic, with fewer reported issues.
Release 2.8.9 includes several important improvements:
* CentOS 5.3 and XEN 3.3.2 are included
* Broader hardware support, including Nehalem processors
* Updated catalog appliances
* Enhanced performance for appliances running Microsoft Windows OS
* 10G Ethernet backbone support
* AppStore enabled
* Integrates all bug fixes resolved since the 2.7 production release
* Compatible with existing applications built for AppLogic 2.7, 2.4 and 2.1
