Hi,

AppLogic 2.4.10 is now available.

AppLogic 2.4.10 is now the recommended production release for installing all new grids. We also recommend upgrading all prior versions to 2.4.10 in order to (a) take advantage of the bugfixes and (b) simplifying maintenance (e.g., removing the need to reapply hotfixes after new server installs).

AppLogic 2.4.10 is a maintenance release of the current production branch of AppLogic. It rolls up all mandatory and recommended hotfixes for 2.4.x, as well as it fixes a few issues for which hotfixes are not available. As a policy, we prepare a new dot-release whenever the latest dot release accumulates 7 or more hotfixes.

With exception of critical security vulnerabilities, we don't plan to release further hotfixes for 2.4.7/2.4.8 -- any new issues will be resolved as hotfixes to 2.4.10.

For more information on the hotfixes and other issues resolved in 2.4.10, please see the release notes (http://doc.3tera.com/AppLogic24/ReleaseNotes-2-4-10.html) and, more specifically, its bugfix section (http://doc.3tera.com/AppLogic24/ReleaseNotes-2-4-10.html#AnchorKeyBugfixes).

Best regards,
-- Peter

P.S.: Note to maintainers: if upgrading from 2.4.7 or 2.4.8 to 2.4.10, you can skip the catalog and reference app update, since there have been no changes (specify explicitly empty values for applications= and catalogs= command line options on the upgrade command line; see release notes). This will save time during the upgrade. We also recommend using the two-phase upgrade (upgrade1 and upgrade2).
