Hi,
Many of you have asked how you can get notifications of new releases, as well as critical notices (such as problems found and hotfixes released).
The best way to do this is to subscribe to the Announcements and to the Notices and Alerts forums.
To do this:
Register as a user on the forums
Await for your registration to be approved (a spam-fighting measure)
Subscribe to receive notifications from the Announcements forum
Subscribe to receive notifications from the Notices and Alerts forum
To subscribe to a forum, select the forum from the list, then select Subscribe from the Forum Tools menu. You can unsubscribe the same way.
If you have any questions, please post to the how-to / troubleshooting forum.
There is also a way to get an RSS feed from these forums; I will provide instructions shortly.
