Can you offer as standard appliance also the MYSQL5 appliance - which should have the same features as the existent MYSQL appliance but to be based on Centos 5 and with Mysql 5 version?
I know that if somebody is needing some specific appliance he/she can build it but not all of us (including me here) are so skilled to do that very easy.
And this appliance is a generic one that everybody needs it.
I hope I'm not asking too much.

Thank you for your great job,
Emil

Emil,

MySQL 5 is an appliance we really would like to do and most certainly will. There are a few CentOS 5 appliances that will be included in the upcoming AppLogic 2.0 production release; you may be able to install MySQL 5 on one of the base appliances shortly.

As soon as I have a release date for a MySQL 5 appliance, I will post here.

Thanks for your request,

Oops, this thread has been cobwebbed:

MYSQL5 has been released for over a year now; we now support both 32-bit and 64-bit, as well as several MySQL replication modes.
