Not sure if this is a known issue or not. I was setting up some graphs on some appliances on the mon web interface, the 6 graphs for each of the appliances were there and working. However, I have just clicked the dropdown list and the view for the appliance is still there, however all six graphs have gone on the one appliance????
Before someone thinks "user error", I did not delete them, close them or minimise them.
I got onto the mon appliance and found the .desc files and the troubled one is not empty.. but everything that should be in it is not...? It seems to have lost the entire visual descriptor, the only thing I changed was the web dashboard from dark to light.
On the same note, can I just add an <appliance>.desc file to the /var/applogic/monitor dir for multiple appliances without having to use the web interface to replicate all the graphs, parameters and thresholds (obviously changing the appliance name) for like appliances (e.g. web servers)? I will try but just asking in case there may be knock on issues that I am not aware of.
Some more info, I did rename the view at the very beginning after adding one graph. After adding the .desc file manually and restarting the application it does not seem like just saving a .desc is enough.
